We work as a team to create picture books for young children. This first came about while travelling into the office together, we got to chatting and realised that our skills would be pretty well suited to making a picture book. So that’s what we did! Starting with the Lonely Lighthouse, in our spare time alongside working full time in a very busy marketing office. It was so much fun we were hooked, and even though Lisa went off to have a baby and changed jobs so that we don’t work in the same office anymore we still love to make lovely picture books together. We just hope you wonderful people enjoy reading them as much as we enjoy making them.

I am a Chartered Marketer by day and a children’s book writer by night. Sometimes.  Sometimes I’m a couch potato who watches episodes of Dexter by night. Sometimes pretend to know how to sew or knit by night. And sometimes by night, I’m just a tired mum to a toddler who wants some sleep. Zzzzzzz.

Antony Carlyon

I am a trained Graphic Designer who really enjoys drawing and creating characters off the top of my head. If I’m not at work, walking the dog or attempting to surf around North Devon you’ll mostly find me hugging one of my collection of graphics tablets while worshiping at the altar of iMac and sketching some project or another. It’s therapeutic and kind of addictive. I love that there’s always a new skill to learn and a different approach to take. I’ll never get bored of illustrating!
